Did you know you can change the flow of water or make paper float in the air with a balloon? A fun experiment guide where we'll explore static electricity and electrostatic attraction!
In this activity, we're experimenting with static electricity using a plastic bottle and some plastic beads. The beads shouldn't be too heavy; they should be light, like the beads we use to make bracelets, and the inside of the plastic bottle should be dry.
This time we will test the second of the electricity experiment. A plastic rod, rope and bag are required as material. Details in our video.
Let's inflate a balloon, rub it on a wool sweater or our hair for a long time, then bring it close to the water flowing from a fountain and watch the water bend and twist.
