Cardboard Perforated Balance Platform Game: Focus and Balance Exercise for Children

Balance Game with Cardboard and Ping-Pong Ball: A Fun Motor Skill Development

This wonderful activity we see in the visual is an excellent "do-it-yourself" (DIY) project that tests children's patience and improves their physical coordination. With just a piece of cardboard and a few small balls, you can have some quality family time away from the screen.

Materials Required for the Game
A large piece of cardboard cut into a circle shape.
A hole opened in the middle of the cardboard, large enough for balls to pass through.
4-5 ping pong balls or similar light balls.
A container or bowl for collecting balls.

How to Play?
Preparation: Mark the hole in the middle of the cardboard with colored pencils and turn it into a target.
Start: Your child holds the cardboard from both sides and you place the balls on the cardboard.
Task: The child gently moves the cardboard and tries to drop the balls one by one into the hole in the middle.
Difficulty Level: You can increase the excitement of the game by keeping time or putting different colors under the balls.

What This Activity Brings to Your Child
Gain Type Description
Fine Motor Skills Small muscle groups work actively to keep the cardboard balanced.
Focus High attention and concentration is required to get the ball into the hole.
Hand-Eye Coordination The harmony between the movement seen by the eyes and the reaction of the hands becomes stronger.
Strategy Development Teaches to create solutions to prevent the balls from moving at the same time.

Advice for Parents
Such games increase children's motivation to try again in the face of failure. If the ball doesn't fall through the hole, you can give them prompts like, "Try playing with the angle a little more."
